The PERFECT NAILS Natural Manicure
Step-by-Step

  1. Remove old nail polish.
  2. File, shape and shorten (if needed) natural nail.
  3. Apply Creative Nail Cuticle Away and soak in bath of Citrusoak by Creative Spa
  4. Gently push back cuticles and remove any skin left on the nail plate with a curate.
  5. Exfollate the hands, fingers and wrists with Creative Span Exfoliating crystals
  6. Client washes hands to remove crystals and stimulate cuticles with gentle scrubbing motion.
  7. Buff nail plate to a high shine (if desired/required)
  8. Rehydrate the hands, fingers and wrists with with rich emollient lotions such as Creative Sensations
  9. polish nails with undercoat, two colour coats and top coat.
  10. solar oil cuticles and underside of free edge.

Note: None of these procedures should be uncomfortable in any fashion. In fact, you should come away feeling relaxed and pampererd. Estimated time for this procedure is 1 hour.

The PERFECT NAILS Gel Overlay to a Natural Manicure
Step-by-Step

If a gel overlay is to be applied during a natural manicure, it would come right after the client washes hands and go as follows:

Firstly, Steps 1 - 5 of natural manicure (above). Then ...

  1. Client washes hands to remove crystals and stimulate cuticles with gentle scrubbing motion.
  2. Nails shine is removed with an emery board style file.
  3. Dust is brushed off and sucked into vacuum system.
  4. A cotton pad with Creative Design ScrubFresh is used to temporarily dehydrate the nail plate and to remove any possible excess oils and dust.
  5. A thin layer of Brisa Bond is applied to the nail plate.
  6. With an artists brush a thin to medium layer of Brisa Gell by Creative Design is applied to the nail plate.
  7. The nails are then cured for 2 minutes under and Ultra Violet light.
  8. A cotton pad is used with Creative Design ScrubFresh to remove any sticky surface left behind from the curing process, leaving a very high gloss strong yet flexible finish.
  9. Rehydrate the hands, fingers and wrists with with rich emollient lotions such as Creative Sensations
  10. Polish nails with undercoat, two colour coats and top coat. (Most people opt out of this if they have overlays)
  11. Solar oil cuticles and underside of free edge.

Note: Allow an additional 45 minutes to one hour for this procedure. If an additional layer of gel is requested at an additional charge, allow more time and repeat steps 7 through 13.
